Giorgio Bormac was founded in Carpi, in the heart of the Province of Modena, with the aim of selecting and marketing high quality scientific equipment throughout the country, through a network of national territorial distributors.
The owners, Giorgio and Rosanna, try to combine family values and the search for a sincere relationship with customers. The company name contains the initials of all the members of the family. From these premises comes the slogan: "The pleasure of working together".

Our Catalog expands thanks to new lines of instruments: data loggers and photometers, and the company begins to expand: technical, administrative and agents spread throughout the territory become part of the "Bormac family".

XS Instruments

The XS Instruments brand is born: a selection of lesser-known brands products in Europe, but which pass intense technical and quality tests, guaranteeing the quality of which Giorgio Bormac is the representative.

The great experience of the historic manufacturer of centrifuges REMI, combined with the research of Giorgio Bormac, allow us to create a line of centrifuges suitable for the European market, in terms of performance and aesthetics. Machines dedicated to research laboratories and industry, reliable, safe and easy to use. The project is constantly evolving, and still, after several years of activity, we continue to propose new models and improve existing ones.
In addition to centrifuges, we offer a whole range of accessories to meet every need.

Kindergarten "I Ranocchi"

To help employees’ kids, the company nursery "I Ranocchi" is opened. The peacefulness that this new reality develops is our strong point that enriches us every day.

The family of centrifuges become bigger, with the addition of the R8D and R10-M laboratory models.

More and more laboratories rely on the brand distributed by Giorgio Bormac.

The new models embrace the functional and aesthetic needs of our market, as well as being reliable and economical.

The ARGOLAB brand is born, a range of instruments that includes ovens, incubators, magnetical stirres, climatic chambers, ultrasonic baths, thermostatic baths.

We dedicated it to Argo, our half-breed Labrador, who cheers up our days with his strength and faithfulness.

The ARGOLAB brand wants to guarantee quality and trustability of our products.

Giorgio Bormac develops, for the first time, its own line of portable instruments for pH and conductivity analysis that will launch under the XS instruments brand, in cooperation with an important Chinese manufacturer.

Given the growing and constant increase in sales, it becomes necessary to expand, so we move to the new headquarters, where we still continue our business nowadays adding new facilities to guarantee stock of our equipment.

The tradition of the Bormac Days also begins this year, which will be repeated constantly in the following years given its success.

First B-days: 2013...

It is an event dedicated to an exchange of ideas with our Italian dealers, improve ourselves and to exhibit our news.

Of course, we take the opportunity to sit at the table with a smile, in front of a good local salami, two flakes of Parmigiano Reggiano and a glass of Lambrusco.

In addition to the Bormac Days we also open up to our Export Partner meeting, the same concept as the Bormac Days but with Distributor from all over the world.

... and one of the last B-days: 2019.

The ONDA family of spectrophotometers is born. The XS instruments family is expanding with the arrival of 4 models of portable thermometers and under the XS green line family we present a whole range of buffer solutions and pH and conductivity standards with N.I.S.T certification.

In March Penny also arrives, a half-breed Labrador who joins Argo's company to brighten our days.

In April, for the first time, we participate at International Analytica trade show , in Munich, with the opportunity to show the world our XS, Argolab and Onda lines, obtaining satisfactory success.

And thanks to the numerous contacts obtained, our experience on foreign markets begins: flanked by some European partners, and not only, we begin to export our instruments all over the world.

The XS sensor brand is born, the first line of electrodes designed by Giorgio Bormac and produced in Switzerland according to our directives.XS instruments is enriched with a whole new line of benchtop instruments for pH and conductivity and a new line of testers, instruments developed internally.

Now that we have control of the entire measurement chain (instrument - sensor - buffer solutions) we can guarantee even better performances, and work on the innovation of our products.

We are trying to win markets that are still unexplored for us, by adding a line of scales and one of ultrasonic baths to our catalog.

XS Balance includes analytical, technical and industrial balances that are economical but reliable. Argolab AU and DU are analog and digital ultrasonic baths, from 3 L to 45 L, very powerful and very useful for cleaning.

Thanks to the close relationship of trust with the manufacturer REMI, also due to the important commercial results obtained, we have the opportunity to design new line of centrifuges for our markets.We present NEYA, a word that in Hindi means "innovation - novelty".

The GB turning point begins: after years of pure consultancy and resale, the MADE IN ITALY project starts. 

By involving companies and suppliers in the area, we move the production of electrochemical instrumentation to Italy, more precisely to Emilia area. A 0 KM production.

This allows us to manage stock availability much better, constantly guaranteeing prompt delivery and unbeatable prices.

We can also focus on product research and development based on feedback that all of you resellers / customers give us.

We go further, we patent DHS technology: intelligent pH electrodes, able to memorize the calibration. The peculiarity is that if connected to an XS DHS instrument they gain maximum performance, while remaining compatible with all pH-meters on the market.

A year of evolution at Argolab: the SUPER project is born.
