Over the years, we have pursued with increasing conviction a path on issues of social responsibility, developing numerous projects and initiatives at the local, national and international levels. This is only possible through our knowledge of the real needs of the associations we interface with, our ability to put relationships at the center of our actions, and our willingness to constantly offer concrete support to individuals and families in need. Sensitivity to the local community goes hand in hand with attention and care for our customers: in fact, we have obtained ISO9001 certification, the internationally recognized standard for quality management that pursues customer satisfaction with regard to the products and services provided, as well as the continuous improvement of business performance. This is a key achievement that has helped strengthen our ability to forge valuable ties not only with customers, but also with suppliers: long-lasting relationships of mutual trust and dialogue, based on shared values and maximum transparency.
COMMUNITY SUPPORT
One of Giorgio Bormac's founding values is helping the local community and beyond. The Covid emergency gave us the opportunity to further help our small town and surrounding areas by distributing masks, infrared thermometers and tablets to hospital departments that needed them. We also collaborate with technical institutions and universities in the area through the school-to-work program to place young people in businesses. We then support some nonprofits in the area with monetary donations and useful or needed goods.

For years we have been collaborating with the nonprofit “Ho Avuto Sete” which is committed to building wells in Africa to bring clean water where there is still none. It is a drop in the ocean, but also a sea of hope.

Information regarding the proper disposal methods of products for decreasing impacts related to product end-of-life (according to regulations). Compliance with GDPR for customer privacy. Annual customer satisfaction survey.
Audits and inspections with social factor analysis on suppliers (especially for India and China). Sourcing choices that facilitate, on equal technical and economic terms, relationships with small and local suppliers. Long-standing relationships with historical suppliers (even more than 20 years of supply relationship). Relationships established on confrontation and dialogue.
