Over the years, we have pursued a path of social responsibility with growing conviction, developing numerous projects and initiatives at local, national and international level. In line with our founding values, we are guided by the creation of shared value within the community. This is only possible thanks to our knowledge of the real needs of the associations we work with, our ability to put relationships at the centre of our actions, and our desire to constantly offer concrete support to individuals and families in need. Our sensitivity towards the local community goes hand in hand with the attention and care we give to our customers: we have obtained ISO9001 certification, the internationally recognised standard for quality management that pursues customer satisfaction with the products and services provided, as well as the continuous improvement of company performance. This is a fundamental achievement that has helped to strengthen our ability to forge valuable bonds not only with customers but also with suppliers: long-lasting relationships based on mutual trust and dialogue, shared values and maximum transparency.

Community Support

One of Giorgio Bormac's core values is helping the local community and beyond. The Covid emergency gave us the opportunity to further help our small town and the surrounding areas by distributing masks, infrared thermometers and tablets to hospital wards in need. We also collaborate with technical institutes and universities in the area through the school-work programme, which helps young people enter the workforce. We also support several non-profit associations in the area with monetary donations and useful or necessary goods.

Ho Avuto Sete

For years, we have been collaborating with the non-profit association "Ho Avuto Sete" ("I Was Thirsty"), which is committed to building wells in Africa to bring drinking water to areas where it is still lacking. With a view to continuously improving the services we offer our customers. ISO9001 quality certification. Production of video tutorials to facilitate product use. Information on the correct methods of product disposal to reduce the impact associated with the end of the product's life cycle (in accordance with regulations). Compliance with the GDPR for customer privacy. Annual customer satisfaction survey. Controls and inspections with analysis of social factors on suppliers (especially for India and China). Procurement choices that facilitate, under equal technical and economic conditions, relationships with small and local suppliers. Long-term relationships with long-standing suppliers (even more than 20 years of supply relationships). Relationships based on discussion and dialogue.
